I’m sitting here trying my new habit of having a coffee without my nicotine supply. I’ve started small and simple I’m not going cold turkey so I’ve decided to separate the two behaviours as they are habitually connected. It was coffee and a cigarette now it’s coffee and a nicotine mint. And now As I learned from the course- link New Habits to an old behaviour I’m using it in reverse in order to break a bad habit. I have yet to find a instant reward for not having nicotine though. Verbal reward is not enough for me.
